DIY Flower Vase: A li'l something to add to your decor or office desk.

Tired of the same four walls of your home? Tired of the stark table at the corner of your living room u attend your meetings? Wanna add something beautiful but also easy on the pocket? Here's a little something to add some colour and freshness.


Materials required:

colour A4 sheet

Golden beads

Toothpicks

White Glue

Pair of scissors

Cardboard sheet

artificial flowers or natural flowers




Procedure:

  • Take the A4 sheet and roll it into a cone.



  • Cut off the edge of the cone.



  • Then take the toothpicks, carve off the sharp edges from them

  • Place a bead at the tip of every toothpick.



  • Take a piece of paper of the same colour as the cone and arrange the toothpicks as shown in the picture and stick them together with the glue.


  • Similarly, make many such units of the arrangement and let them dry completely...





  • Take cardboard or thick sheet, stick a round piece of the colour sheet on it and cut out the edges. The base of the vase is ready.

  • Place the sheet of paper we folded into a cone over this round base.

  • Fill the cone halfway with something heavy like moulding clay or thermacole cubes or old pieces of cloth or old newspaper to hold the base and give some mass to the vase.



  • Start sticking the toothpick units from the top of the vase and keep moving down till the bottom. covering all the spaces.



  • Arrange the flowers inside and the vase is ready.
